PANTS’ WEDDING

Probably one of the ‘funnest’ (is that even a word) wedding we have ever had the privilege of planning. One evening we received an email from Candice asking if we would be able to assist her in planning her wedding as she was based in the UK and wanted to get married in South Africa, but would only be out 2 months before the wedding.

Candice wanted an outdoor, relaxed venue that was unique and not your typical Wedding venue ! We recommended the Litchi Orchard (www.litchiorchard.co.za) in Salt Rock, KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. She also wanted the best alternative Wedding photographer in the industry, there is ONLY one Adrian Shields Photography (www.adrianshields.co.za). Mark, being a musician, wanted to make sure they had the best party ever, well The Wedding DJ made sure of that. We dealt directly with the venue, DJ and photographer to secure the date of the Wedding.

Next was the Decor, flowers and the Theme of the Wedding. Well that was easy as Candice had been planning her Wedding for a very long time. Being a creative person and graphic designer came in very handy as she made all the various decor elements from Invitations, table names, placecards and heart cushions. All the vases were bought from the SPCA shops in and around Durban.

Candice and Mark wanted to ensure that their Wedding reflected them in everyway from the Cake to the First Dance.

Not only were there Streamers and the biggest sparklers the world has seen but we also had a Candy Table, which is becoming very popular these days with the Brides. It is very cost effective and is a great subsitute for dessert which most people don’t eat.

What an absolute pleasure it was Planning this Wedding with one of the most enthusiastic and excited Brides I have ever worked with. We setup the day before the Wedding so there was no stress and so that Candice and Mark could be involved, as they were from start to finish, to see their Wedding vision come true. We setup the Decor and Tables as well as the fairylights and lanterns.

Our on the day Wedding Co-ordination involved ensuring that the Bride was happy and everything flowed according to her vision from the theme and decor through to the events of the day. This included the ceremony, canapes on the lawn, ensuring the bar was stocked and cold for the guys, the food was on time and the MC knew what to say and when. The photobooth was an absolute hit with all the guests getting involved.

So if you are about to start planning your Wedding …you know who to call!
